Tony,

The best comparison we have is a car with a spacer going up against another car with a Crawford Plenum and an intake. Adam, the guy who threw down the gauntlet in the heated spacer thread did dyno, but he didn't do pre/post dynos like he initially said he would.

Rest assured that both cars were close, however if memory serves correctly, the Crawford car gained a couple of more hp... Then again, I haven't seen the data since last Saturday.

I probably won't redyno with stock 18's. Infact, after reading this thread The great ECU discussion... I'm not sure what, if anything, I'll be doing next as far as NA mods are concerned...

G35Sean is having the "Crawford Package" installed on his auto coupe in the next few weeks. He is going to do a baseline dyno (with grounding wires and z-tube only) then do a post dyno with all of the Crawford goodies installed. I would like to suggest that I buy the best plenum spacer you have (1/4", 3/8" or 1/2", whichever is best) and then take off the Crawford Plenum with the car still on the dyno and install your spacer and re-dyno.

I'd obviously have to run this by Sean before I bought the spacer, but since I already have my own plenum I would not be interested in keeping the spacer, regardless of the results.

If infact your spacer does produce more hp and tq with the headers, intake and cats then I think it would be safe to say that your spacer allows for "better flow" than the Crawford Plenum.

waddayathink? If Sean's cool with this I'll put the cost of the spacer on my credit card for a few weeks, as long as I can return it for a full refund. That's the best I can come up with.

Haha nice way to pass the responsibility Todd. Didnt want to call you here but, if memory serve me right here, I believe YOU were the one that suppose to conduct this test and not ME! I was willing let you use my car and spacer to help conduct the test.

FloridaG35Club Official Chop Buster,
Oh how I wish... Let's see...

1. Only 80% of the cabinets are installed
2. No tile has been install what so ever
3. No wood flooring has been installed what so ever
4. No countertops have even been measured, much less cut to fit or installed
5. The stainless steel stove, dishwasher and refrigerator are looking really sharp in the garage (where the G is supposed to be parked).
6. No kitchen sink, garbage disposal or running water of any kind in the kitchen
7. No base boards installed
8. No toilet in the 2nd bathroom
9. Walls need a major touch up paint job

I'd say I still have another month of a grace period, unfortunately.

Don't listen to them Todd. S/C your baby first. The hell with the kitchen

Btw that ECU thread on my350z is GREAT reading material. I've never seen anything half as informative on here, we're lucky that the G has a half-twin so that we can learn something about our cars...

Your pink isn't bright enough. You'd need these... ...with the pink I'll select for him to use.

Did anyone ever figure out how to have the dyno graphs show the correct hp and tq numbers at the same time??
