Thumbs up Plenum and Samco Hose Install

Sorry I was not able to make the Tint Party but, I had to make a trip over to Lokey to get my Crawford plenum and Samco hose kit installed. As always, Lokey did a great job. Very happy with the results.

Thanks. The only reason it is so clean is that it is still somewhat new. Most of it was covered by the stock cover until last week. Have not cleaned it yet since purchase in November.

Early Morning+Tony=Bad Mixture. I don't remember anything about the drive over so, I think I must have been asleep. Glad the cruise control works.

There is a decent shopping center across the street from Lokey that is in walking distance. Killed a bunch of time at the Borders. Got out of there around 1330. All things considered, it was not too bad at all. Even I-4, with all the construction going on, was not stop and go.

Overall, a good day with great results.

Yes, they make a kit in black and about 7 other colors. What you see it two parts. Four coolant hoses and the replacement for the z-tube.

The fittings are Pi-Thons. If you go that route, be sure to order the ones for the Samco hoses. The OD of the Samco's is bigger than the stock. I could not use the Pi-Thons on the heater hose due to the "T" fitting behind the radiator. All other worked great. Still waiting on some vacuum lines to finish it off with the remaining Pi-thons.

Here is Pi-Thons web site: http://www.pi-thon.com/

Here is Samco's web site: http://www.samcosport.com

Forge Motorsport is the local distributor for Samco. They are actually in Orlando:

Hi FLFIRE

Do you have the measurements for the vacuum lines?
What other lines did you replace other that the ones that came with the Samco Kit (overflow; upper & lower rad and the long heater (?)hose)?
I did not like the Pi-Thons and will probably sell them; I used regular screw down clamps

Have you noticed any difference with the Crawford plenum? I have a 2005, but it's 6mt not a 5at like yours.

I've heard mixed results about Crawford's plenum on a 2005 G35. I'm curious as to how you like it.

I have only changed one other one. The line from the lower plenum on the attached picture. I may change it back and just keep the pi-thons on. Some of the other vacuum lines have check valves in-line and I don't want to mess with them.
