Wish I could click my heels together and have a place to install/tune that isn't hours upon hours away from north florida!

Thank you for the list.. 2 of those places are out already: Stage 6 (long story.. company is on its way out) and Pete Moore Chevy (friend of a friend had a bad experience). I will call around to the other places, do we happen to know if anyone has used these or if they tune as well?

Don't forget Lokey Infiniti

Don't forget Lokey Infiniti in Clear Water, one of our club sponsors, can install your vortech supercharger for you and provide you with a loaner car while your car is being worked on.

My thought exactly, a 10 hours drive up there and a few days stay.. which isnt that bad part, just extra expenses. But more concerning to me is that your tuner shop will be out of state, what if you need a retune or have issue down that road? 600 miles then seem to be a long *** way... None the less, it is a great deal, but I think I rather pay a bit more at lokey when I do get one, to have a peace of mind and a dealer's help if anything does come up.

You guys need to take a lot of pics when you are up there!!! good luck!!

I figure Lokey will be able to do maintainance like new spark plugs, oil changes, new belts, etc... Then there is Coastal Dyno for future tuning needs (don't know why you'd ever need them unless you plan on adding more mods). The deal we're getting on the install and tuning is INSANE! The shop has installed 30+ Vortech's on 350z's and G35's and they can do the install in about 6 hours.

They are capable of doing 2 installs/day, including gauges and tuning. They really have their stuff down after doing so many installs. BTW, they're the 5th largest Vortech dealer in the US. They're providing the gauge pods, gauges, spark plugs, Gates Belts, the super chargers, tuning, installation, etc... Kind of like Walmart for superchargers.

Lokey is an awesome dealership and I went to John first. This deal is simply too good for me to pass up.

Seeing how uneasy you are about all of this, I thought you'd especially appreciate that one.

I was feeling much better until I read all the AT upgrading crap....three recommended things....none of which are cheap by themselves.
ps. I even PM'd John at Lokey for a sales guy to call me about maybe trading a 5AT for a 6MT. I figured I would lose a few grand...but....I have to spend almost that on the upgrades. Hmmmmmmmm. Walmart huh....

jason sending pm in a little while.

a tranny cooler that will work can be found at you local auto zone for ~$60. it can go in line withthe stock radiator. the only reason why i am goin to get one with a fan is because i want to upgrade my radiator and there is only 6mt radiators out there right now which dont have a radiator cooler in them. stick with the 5at. fi is just as good on it as it is on an 6mt. if you dont think so look at tinman's car.

LMAO. My gut really hurts right now from laughing so hard. I can just see your little Cuban face with this perplexed expression... "He's got me going to Walmart for a S/C install"....

In my quest to continue to justify this whole project...i posted a thread in my350z about going the 9lb route. I figure if I do $1500 worth of upgrades on a transmission...then I should at least get the 9lb'er............

Hey Todd...call me sometime tomorrow..if not...I will hunt you down as I have another question for you.
