They dynoed his car when it was cold and he got ok numbers. They then IMMEDIATELY dynoed it again within one minute and his numbers dropped. I would have thought that the oil temps would have gone up and his car would have gotten better numbers, but I guess not.

G8tor was putting down 10.5 psi of boost and still not getting the same hp/tq results I was at 9.0 psi. (more to come in a write up later about our CP Racing trip). Gotta love those Crawford Headers!!!

Bottom line, this dyno was reading low (about 20rwhp for my run) and all of the NA G's were about 10rwhp lower than their previous runs on the same dyno this last May so take everything with a grain of salt. So much for SAE corrections.

Yeah...either that Dyno was waaaaaay off or CP Racing numbers were waaaay up. To dyno at 385 one day and 340 the very next day means something was off. Their sniffer was off too as it was showing me at 13 A/F for a few thousand RPM's and neither CP Racing or my wideband has recorded that yet.

How my second run was soo much lower than run #1 is beyond me. Bottom line is something was off...whether it was CP or this place...one of them is off...(Look at Todd...he varied 20-30 whp between his two runs...wtf...should two runs be that far off?)

I don't know the boost yet. I'm still new driving it so I focus on A/F and Rpm's (and of course the road). I'll try and look at boost on the way home. As soon as I install that Zeitronix software on the laptop...I can d/l the last 9 hours worth of data and really study it...

Oh yeah... Alan's car is a Flippin' Monster. Did anyone else notice how fast his dyno run was? It was like 1, 2, DONE!

This definitely makes me feel better about my 14.5 hit on the A/F, but still not great. I don't want to step on any toes, but that whole dyno situation didn't seem to be runned the best that it could be. The numbers produced were terrible all around, so at least there is consistency there to know it wasn't just the cars.

Good news guys. We got the stock cooling system to work much better by just bypassing the heater core. No more overheating/having to burp the system. The new cooling system will go in as soon as I get the radiator breather tank from Greddy. I was actually able to go through all the gears except 6th on I4 without overheating just by doing this bypass. Before I knew it I was going over 145 on I4 by Lake Mary, woops! Neff, it looks like I'll be coming by the track on Friday. That run on the dyno was at 10.5psi and in 3rd gear(that's why it was so fast).

There is no way he should have dynoed your car while it showed that A/F...let alone run a second time. Inexcusable.

I do not think that shop or dyno is running the way it should be. That will certainly be the last time I dyno there.

The numbers were highly inconsistent between two back to back runs. I could see some variance...but....Todd and I were both 20-30whp off between runs (his went up and mine went down). Even NA cars were varying 10whp on their two runs. Sh!tty dyno if you ask me....

Even though no one agreed with me, I could have sworn Todd's first run put down the 36xwhp and his next run was lower.

I thought we both dyno'd aboutu 340 on our first runs. On the second run...he went to ~360 and I went to about ~320. Very inconsistent readings....I may be wrong though. I was saying this from memory

That's what I thought too. I think Jason is just in the habit of making excuses and it's spilling over into every thread he posts in now.

So Todd...we each went down 20-30hp on our second runs?
