Draco, It is really easy and you can watch a bunch of other people dyno first.

Here's how it works.

1. You give your keys to the dyno operator.
2. They back your car up onto the dyno and press a button on a hydraullic lift.
3. Car goes up into the air about 4 feet and then they back the rear wheels up onto a steel drum.
4. They attach straps to the back of your car to keep your car stationary and then they begin to do the dyno run.
5. They start out in 1st gear, get to ~2,500-3,000 rpms and shift into second... repeat this until you get to 4th gear for the 5AT's or 5th gear for the 6MT's.
6. At about 2500 rpm's they floor the car and take it up until you tell them to stop. Most people take it to the rev limiter.

There is a computer hooked up to the dyno and it prints out your graph. You don't have to do anything, the dyno operator does everything for you.

Why won't you do it with an above ground dyno. It's not like you'll be tuning. It's just to run a number and do a comparison between cars and mods.

On another note:
I just pulled my set of RC 440's out of my car so anyone that wants them for $100 gets them. Only to a FGC member and must meet up at Neff's this weekend or at the dyno day. I don't know how much these go for but this has got to be a good price. They only have about 1500 miles on them. I am now using ~700cc injectors so no need for these. Hope these go to a deserving home and someone that is going to use them to their full potential. Maybe you want them Neff. It'll give you more headroom for your supercharger.

Wood boards. With my Greddy front bumper and since it is soooo low we have to use those to get mine up the ramps at shops. No more excuses. Come to dyno day. I went to the very first one and it was fun.

Yes you can, they have a special provision built for the low low low corvettes that are in and out of their shop all of the time.
