OK Iv got a delima I need some input on.
As most of you, I have a very very expensive "want list". Difference is I am single and get what I want. Well this time all my wants are a bit much so I need to rank them in the order I should buy. Iv narrowed it down to either rims or a 45"+ HD LCD tv with PbP and new computer for multitasking use in the livingroom.
Pros for RIMS ($2800+$1200+$200+$700=$4700total)
1) TVs will come down in price
Cons
1) Live in new development with construction and mud (car stays dirty)
2) Just spent $1200 on new tires, should use them a little
Pros for TV ($4000+$1800computer=$5800)
1) Just bought tires
2) Has a productive use
Cons
1) Relatively new, should come down further in price
I had alot more pros/cons figured out last night but its 9am and i dont remember them. anyways, whats ur take??
NOTE: the one i dont get now, i will get later

My suggestion to you is to get what I got, Sony 50 inch LCD Projection A10 series.. it's beautiful, and can be had for about $2100... just food for thought, has HDMI, 3 component inputs, etc. Originally Posted by dabomb

Before noticing that you were in FLA, i was going to say get the TV because winter is right around the corner, then go for the wheels in the Spring - but since you losers (im jealous) dont have to worry about snow, ice, salt, etc, i guess that theory is a little off....
I guess id still go for the TV first - after all, its football season, basketball will start up soon, and the holidays are approaching fast which is always a good time to have people over to hang out and check out your new cool TV...
Go TV, Then Rims...

And if we are talking chronologically, I got my Sony TV about a month ago, and my rims about 2 weeks ago.. which follows PearlcoupeG35s thought pattern too Originally Posted by Pearlcoupeg35

I'd say if you don't get the rims now, don't get them. You'll get more use out of your rims while you own the G. When the time comes for you to sell the G, odds are the Maya's won't fit on your next car and resale on the Mayas will be very low.
The TV can wait for a few months. If you were to sell your house you can always take the TV with you, so you might as well get as much use/$ out of your new wheels as you can.
BTW, you'll still be able to use your new tires on road trips (don't want to risk damaging the Maya's) and having a good amount of tread can really help sell a car to a public buyer.

I believe it does NOT do side by side display (my buddy has the old 655 model I believe that does do it.) but it does have DB15 for VGA. It's a hell of a TV.. as todd says. the Grand Wega Projection LCD TV's are your best bang for your buck right now. Originally Posted by dabomb

?? im not getting rid of the car in the next 3yrs. Buying rims early next year will still give me 3+ yrs of use. Losing 6months isnt going to make me not get them, if that was the case I wouldnt be thinking about it now since I'v already waited a year.Originally Posted by neffster

and I did find the Sony Wega SXRD that seems to have everything I need, except I dont think its wall mountable which sucks!!

i say go for the rims, i dont watch TV that much. so while its nice to have a bad a$$ TV, i would use it enough to justify getting it before rims, which i enjoy seeing all day every day

Get the TV first... then the rims. That's how I did it and it worked out well. The TV will take your mind off the rims for a lot longer than the rims would the TV.

Forget the TV. Go with a DLP projector and a 100 inch screen. : ) Then get the wheels.

So Wes is single. Will you pick up good looking females by bringing your tv in your car? ... Probably not. PLus, it won't fit.
Will you have good looking females notice you more with your nice new Maya's? ... Possibly.
