You Heard It Here First !!!!!!!!!!! New Model

I have been informed that Infiniti will have a hardtop roadster based off the coupe platform for 2007. This is NO BS and other than the fact that it will be an 2007 model is ALL the info I have........

Operational simular to a Lexus SC-430

I just wet my pants.......

So are you going to get a beater for a year until that comes out, or are you gonna trade in your 1-year-old TT for one of those?

That's what you said when you traded the 6mt for the LS Haha trust me I get tired of things just as fast. So when are you picking up the TT?

Call me skeptical, buuuuuut, doesn't it take a minimum of like 5 years to design, engineer, build and test a new model car. If this is true, this means that a hard top has been in the owrks for several years now. I find it hard to believe that there can be 3 years of silence and no "leaks". Not in today's world with internet, spy shots, etc.. I hope I'm wrong...but...I don't see it coming.

Most manufacturers use outside companies for projects like this. With R&Ding no more then 1 year is needed to have a full working model.

Sounds about right. Put an army of engineers and manufacturing experts on the job and a working prototype for several million dollars can be had in a few short months.

One word Solstice...... brought to reality in 9 months by Bob.... Neff I think you know the source so perhaps that might lend to this being a little more solid.
