I was hoping that some of the FGC members might be there. I have yet to get around to mailing out a check for membership.

 

We've been going every weekend for about a month and a half. I think we all needed a break.

Unfortunately, I am going to be out of the country on a short vacation.

I think the last time the FGC had an all florida meet, I was gone then too. One of these times, I have to check out all these nice cars!

 

yeah those are nice mph youre getting, we should be neck and neck, is that covered under warranty if the rod is bent into a horseshoe shape??


my best mph is 109.8 damn gearing

yeah i was looking at my mph 1/8th mile, mine is 88.5 i saw you had 86 on your only run you made. i have to get my gearing changed, my fourth gear is just plain weak, such a low crossover point, and i dont have any ***** at lower rpms, i need to get my revs up closer to the limiter....

 

Wow. That is a great 1/8 mile mph. You are a full 2 mph faster in the 1/8 than I am. But then, I am pulling out another 24 mph in the last 1/8 mile while you are getting a 21 mph increase.

I wish i had a chance to make more than one pass at the track. I think I short shifted 3rd gear (around 6500 rpm). Plus, I 'd love to work on my launch technique!!!

That Bithlo track isn't well marked. I am used to running at Moroso. If the other car hadn't beaten me, I would have missed the turn ofF!!!

 

yeah dont miss the turn off, i have heard people hit the trees more than once.

it is totally my gearing, i have a 5 speed with 3.3 rear gearing, so i lose a lot....

i am working on it though and will have it all sorted out soon....
