The news here in Tampa reported the local "Best Buy" store sold out during the first hour it open it's door!!! Gamers sleepover night during some cold temps and rain to be the first in line to get their hands on the Xbox 360.

Rumors has it, there's a few already on E-Bay for around an grand.

 

Heard on radio today some guy presold his on ebay for $1100 then was #52 out of 50 so he didnt get one but he already spent the money. Talk about screwed...

 

I saw one go off auction on ebay earlier today for $10,100. no, thats not a typo. some jackass spent 10k on a friggin gameing console. what a tool.....

 

yeah this is absolutely nuts.... Wait until a few weeks before xmas if the supply stays tight. little johnny will throw a fit and mom and day will break into the 401K to make him happy........hmmmmm should I sell mine for mod money

BTW ECU flash being done this weekend for a 22HP gain on the beetle.....put me into G35 auto territory !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I had the luck of playing the 360 for a few hours last night and this morning. My buddy from work reserved his back in June. So we were out of GameStop by 12:05 and playing by 1:00am last night. He had previously purchases Project Gotham 3, Need For Speed "Most Wanted", and Call of Duty 2.

The graphics are AMAZING!!! The speed on the system is ridiculous. XBox Live is another story... My friend had a previous account with another credit card and cell phone number, but still had a few months left on his membership. We were unable to migrate his XBox live account due to him having a new CC and cell number. So $29.99 later, we were playing Live...but yet another problem. We could not play multiplayer XBox live. You must have an XBox live account per player. So that was a let down.

Sorry to let you down, Aleic, but from what I saw there were no Gs or TTs in PGR.

I arrived in Clearwater today and now am anxiously awaiting to return to Orlando on Friday just so I can play XBox 360.

 

XBox 360 looks sweet, but i'm gonna wait for the PS3.

but a couple of my friends sleep outside of best buy last nite in order to get it

 

My brother went to wait in line at Wal-Mart but they sold out. Oh well.

 

I think there is pleny of life still left in the regular xbox. With xbox 360 all you're really paying for is better graphics (but not better gameplay, i still think xbox graphics are very good), wireless controllers and rehash games that xbox already has (or similiar to). No need for me to upgrade. Plus, I wasn't planning on waiting on line for this system like I did last time. Microsoft is just saying that don't have enough units to sell to build a bunch of hype. My roommate wanted me to wait with him on line to get his and I said, "I waited with you two hours on line to get Halo2. I'm not doing that again, you're crazy!"

Also you can't tinker with xbox 360 (i'm not going to elaborate with that means, so don't ask me).
