Looking for a new laptop?

Hey Guys, I'm looking for a new budget laptop for school was wondering if I could get any suggestion's from any of you guys... I guess all I'm looking for is something under the 1k mark that will last me a few years mainly for doing basic stuff like wp, powerpoint, and maybe store some music and surf. Any ideas?

I got Dell off of eBay that was one of the refurbished Dell's bought by some dealer guy. Still in the refurbished wrapping from Dell. CD/DVD-RW, Mobile 1.4 Pentium III chip, 60gig HD, 512SSDR, 15.4" screen, all the wireless cards and internal modem, Windows NT, all software including Outlook...all for $795 shipped...

You can also find refurbished Dells on their site. They are a great deal.
