Testers needed!
Testers needed!
Just wrapped up a newer module tonight, the code took me a whopping 11 months to write. I started it early last year and lost my motivation when my DVD player quit working in my car.
Anways, this is definately a small market module, and I'm hoping I can find a few testers
This nameless module (leaning towards VDC Mux) allows switching an auxiliary device through the VDC button. Say you install a Navi video switcher, with this module you can use the VDC switch to switch between navi and video. The VDC switch will still work almost as stock, with only some minor, minor changes.
Another cool idea for this module is turning sub amps on and off. With the use of a relay you can run your amps remote wire through this module and turn it on and off at will, without adding a switch to the car. Really the possibilities are endless.
Typically, we offer two - three modules to the first 2 - 3 people who claim them, but this one will be a bit different. To claim one of these free test modules please let me know how you will use it, and what you will control with it. I would like to get several different installs with it.
Technical side (without much detail): When activated the module will output two separate signals - The first will toggle on and off with each trigger, and the other will pulse for a short time with each trigger. The toggle signal can be used for navi -> video switching, amp switching, or anything else that requires a constant signal. The pulse output can be used to turn on and off any device that needs a pulse, such as a playstation or other video game. Both outputs are 100mA (-) outputs designed to drive external relays.
If you would like more specific information please PM me, due to recent events KPtechnologies will not be posting much details about products in development.
Thanks again to all the people I met on my 3 week trip to Florida, it was nice putting some faces with names. I also had some time to finish coding one new module (code name - the big one) that I'm waiting to test in my car and got quite a bit of troubleshooting done on a security update for Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.
What do you all think about this mux switch?

Anyone have that problem where you step on the brake and gas at the same time and lose throttle?
There are ways to bypass it by 1. pulling a fuse or 2. installing an inline switch.
Well, using the above module you could tie in the brake bypass, BUT keep your brake lights working. Anyone interested in that?
I really need to get this tested, I can't believe I'm having a hard time GIVING stuff away!
