Did this just pertain to the coupe or was there an advertising glitch for the sedans as well.

i think it applied to coupes only, but its only for people that bought their cars when the 05's first came out. when did you get yours?

 

In early MY2005 brochures and campaigns Infiniti announced that the 05 Performance Tire and Wheel Package (OEM 18's) and 05 Sport Tuned Suspension Package (OEM 19") both included the VLSD. Later it turned out that the former was a marketing error, the VLSD was scratched out from the Perf. Tire and Wheel Pkg description, and those who complained got refunded a few hundred bucks for buying a car that lacked one of the advertised features.

And yes, the issue pertains to coupes only. You have an 05 6MT sedan with the standard sport tuned suspension including a VLSD.

 

yeah, if you have a 6MT then you have nothing to worry about

 

thanks for sheding some light on this for me. I bought mine in August of 05. I read through the entire thread and hardly seen anything about the sedan. Since the car are so similar it did not occur to me that this really could have been a coupe only issue.
