Finally got some dyno numbers!

Well, I'm about 18 months in to my full build and I finally got the car street tuned and on a dyno. I was honestly expecting less power, but I'll take what I can get! Max WHP - 407, max tq - 373. This was done on Sunoco 94 octane fuel.

The car is a 2004 G35 coupe with a fully built bottom end and an APS TT. For more info on the car check out: http://www.kptechnologies.com/dynos/

Congrats Kevin, I'm glad you got your car back. Did you change out the wastegate springs, or did you stay stock?

I have an upgraded spring. I'm actually running the absolute lowest boost pressure possible right now as I get it tuned. I'll probably do the tuning in steps from here on out. I can't wait to get it done!

Turn it up a bit once you have seated the rings. 8.6:1 and 7psi is not even close to pushing that thing on 94 octane. Hell I bet it will run fine like that on 89. I think you will find a nice balance of reliability and power at right around 12-14psi with pump gas. I am thinking with proper tuning and the right timing curve you can do 16psi with pump no problem.

I've got at least 2000 miles on the new motor, so I would hope that my rings are seated by now. I'm actually going ot leave it just the way it is for every day driving, as I really like how slowly the torque comes on. I think the gradual torque increase will really improve the reliability of the motor.

But, of course with a flick of a switch I'll be able to turn on my boost controller and run 12-14psi of lag free power!!!!!
