Stillen 350 Z

Well the next Ontario Z drag day in Canada is on Sept. 23 at ST thomas Dragway. I have corrected the fuel problems with the car. ( got rid of the VP 103).
The car now makes 9 lbs of boost. This week I ordered the stillen stage 4 kit ( i need the pump, injecter, and new piggy back box.) 8 lb pulley is for sale.
To day the SC was sent out to be ported and the ECU was sent out to be flashed. This time the Stillen will go mid 12.s. On 8 lbs before the above mods it make 307 rwhp. Not bad for a 5 AT.
I will have cams for the car, that will take care of the 17 degree valve overlap problem but they will be installed in December. Ran out of money. They make 30hp on a normally aspirated car and the should work well with my headers and cats. They apparently should let me run the headers and not loose hp. This should bring the boost up to 9 1/2 lbs.
The ported Sc should give me 20 to 25 and i should get 12 from the 9 lb pulley and a few HP from the upgraded ecu and the new fuel pump. Can not wait to see what hp it will make at 7100 rpm!
I hear from chicgo X that the G guys are going to I 41 Aug 27. Can not make it but if you guys go in October I will be there ( slicks, and the Z in full drag racing form).
Will keep you posted on the car. Hoping for 340 + at the wheels.
I 41 speedway is a much faster track than the one in Canada.

Sounds great!

Where did you get your 9lb pulley?

Are you having your SS box flashed or ecu?

I have HF cats and am looking for headers right now. I need a higher boost pulley since I have lost some boost and will loose more with the headers.

Thanks for any help!

I am getting the factory ecu "L flashed". On the dyno i lost 6 rwhp with the cats on. The headers are costing you 3/4 lbs of boost. (8 to 10 rwhp). I have the stillen headers and the random cats, the car is loud and if you floor it under a bridge it screams and the sound is awsume. It is the most incredable sound i have ever heard. Pm me and I will send you the phone # of the shop that made my pulleys.

Stillen Update

The stillen stage 4 kit arrived and I got the ported blower back today. The ecu was shipped from Altered Atmosphere on tueday and should be here next week. I also got the HKS amplifer and will be increasing the gap from 28 to 33 thou.
Can not wait to see what it will make at 9. lbs boost at 7100 rpm. It will be running by Sept 12.
Will keep you guys posted on the dyno #s soon.
The guy with the turbo Z ran 11.66 at the track a few weeks ago. Great #'s. I will never be as quick as him but it will go 12.5's.

The APS turbo Z ran 11.33 last week at a track in the US. It dynod at 494 rwhp. My stillen SC will not stand a chance against him. He has one fast car. The only problem that he has now is that he has to put a cage in his car.
Congratations are due to him for he drives one fast 350 Z.
Progress report on my car is that we have started to put it back together but the vacum line broke the nipple off the bypass valve and have not been able to get a new one or repair it yet. The porting on the SC looks great and i hope that it makes the power that the vender claims it does.
Will post the dyno results in 2 weeks.
