The supercharger is what makes the whine noise. The BOV sounds just like one on a turbo. Boost is boost and a BOV does not know the difference.

or
Because he did not install Tranny Cooler right After SC
or
04 G35x has older TCM software that's updated in 05 G35x
or
Xman got a weaker tranny than average?

I am leaning towards getting a Tranny cooler with Tranny Tempreture Gauge.
for my 05 G35x, I think this should be ok to handle the HKS SC that's only 300lb T. Without VB upgrade.

Any thoughts?

his blew from heavy abuse. If u know u are going to put daily abuse to it then of course upgrade the VB or even get a upgraded tranny. But on average, your tranny can hold up the abuse to around 330lb tq and last just as long as those driving NA. Tranny coolers are cheap (50) insurance if you're scared and even I have one in my sc vortech.

Quick question - Is the belt that comes with the Vortech stock a Goodyear Gatorback belt or is it some other brand? Was dyno'ing my car and the freakin A/C belt snapped and nicked my Gates belt, which never slipped. After installing a brand new Gatrrback belt and A/C belt, it's slipping pretty bad. Is the Gatorback not as good as the Gates? Is it because the belt is new?
