Hits Rev Limiter @ 4500RPM
...More like a fuel cut maybe? Nothing changed on the car... just was driving it one day and now it won't rev past 4.5K in gear [In Nuetral, no problems]. Car still has all the power it did before below 4500, but it feels JUST like the rev limiter at 7,000RPM.
Tuner says they haven't really run into this problem yet [very good reputable tuner] and it will take some time to get fixed. Anyone else out there have any ideas?
Procharger 7lbs
GReddy eManage Ultimate
bigger injectors and fuel pump
1 step colder plugs

Are you pulling any codes? I saw this on a 350Z with a Vortech and e-manage ultimate last week it seemed like the ignition signal would scatter at 4500 rpm, it drew a 2135 error code (TPS/Throttle Body), turns out the voltage was incorrect at the TPS. Being a Unichip Tuner I'm not real familiar with the e-manage ultimate, and don't know if it has a field for setting the TPS like the Unichip does. Either way it's good place to start. When you get it figured out post the outcome, Good Luck.

Actually, I hate 2 TC's for the TPS. I'm assuming one was the TPS itself and the other the throttle body because I heard there were two. Those codes are gone now, or atleast not active. - Like it healed itself... but maybe they are just still stored... I've cleared them out before. I'll call the shop tomorrow and let them know about this and see what they say.
I was thinking also fouled spark plugs maybe? The car ran really rich on them [in the upper 9's] for a month or so at regular throttle....

Just throw the car away. j/k! Hope you get the kinks worked out man. I was going to roll up to Infiniti today since I got some wierd fuel line call back but I don't think they would service my car period. haha See ya around.

OK, its not the Ignition map, checked it. It happens at 4lbs of boost, so the RPMs due vary slightly [ranging from 4000 - 5000]. They are checking the BOV [stock unit]... but I doubt thats it... If they don't have it by tomorrow I'll tell them to pull a plug and look at it, I don't think they've done that yet.
So, any other ideas?

Homie, I had a similar problem - driving along one day, then the cutout happened as you explained. I limped home, checked everything, still had a problem. Left it alone for a few hours, went back - restarted fine - no sign of any issues. I took it to the dealer next day - they could not find any problems; no codes nothing...
It has been several months now - no probs..bit of a mystery.
