Stillen Supercharger
well the car has only been out for a few weeks. i'd give it some time. i can't see it being to much longer, the engine is still the same... maybe the pretune, or hood, or something else minor.

i'm sure we've all heard about the 07 g35 that was already wrecked, with the 07 sedans peeking around here and there.
i didn't mean selling for a while, i meant it's been out. it exists. magazines, and certain other companies are able to test drive it, before the actual release.

i didn't say it was easy for anyone to do. but if that is all you do, i believe it shouldn't be a stretch. are you suggesting that stillen is involved in any other project?
that's like asking me to design a tactical network to support a major military unit, with 15 subordinate units, including secure internet, non-secure internet, voip, analog voice networks, with cryptographic equipment, over satellite, and tropo communications, and then install it, in about 12 hours, at night, etc... some people would think that's pretty hard. but because that's what i know, it's easy to adapt a known concept to fit other solutions.
i'm sure everyone on this board has their own 'specialty', and could give an example like mine. i'm just saying, if that's all you do, and right now i believe that's their only real project, even if they only really work 4 hours a day, how long do you think it would take?

It's not just time. It's money, return on investment, demand. Who's to say the next Z motor will use the same exact set up. What happens if the 3.7L motor does not use the dual throttle body configuration, that would be horrible return on the investment of changing the casting. (pretty sure it's cast)
I'm no expert, I just do not think it's as simple or quick to do. The rev up changes took a long time for a few manufacturers to produce kits that worked with the rev up changes.

you're right about the z - it would suck if the z undergoes engine changes. i hadn't considered that (being stillen's primary market). i forget that the g35 goodies are a byproduct of platform sharing by nissan.
something else to consider - all major car manufacturers are switching to f/i. bmw, vw, audi, chevy, ford (svt), maybe the next z will already have a turbo model? talk about a horrible return... good point rookie.
