Is this normal

My car is stock with the exception of the vortech supercharger I had installed a few weeks ago. I had it tuned with the SS box that comes with the system and dyno'd. Rwhp was 340 and 290 torque, but my car is running lean at 6k, the a/f was at about 13.5. The tuner adjusted timing and fuel to try and compensate for the car running lean at 6k. He told me either the vortech fuel pump isn't working or the injectors are maxed out. Any insight? I'm having the fuel pump checked in a few days. I don't have any monitoring in place yet, but I am looking at getting the innovate solution in a week or so.

sounds like the aux fuel pump isn't coming on. You can hear it whine when you turn on the car's accessory power.

there's a setting in the SS software that tells the AUX pump to come on. I believe the default is inthe higher part of the rpm range...you need to adjust it.

If the Aux wasn't working at all, wouldn't it be more like 15+ at 6k?

I'm not saying it's not coming on. I'm suggesting that it's coming on too late in the powerband and that should be adjusted.

Okay finally got the car up and looked at it. Question: Should there be voltage at the aux fuel pump? When? I checked using a voltmeter after turning the key, no voltage. I started the car, not voltage. Should it only get voltage when I'm at WOT? If that's the case how do I check it?

The biggest mistake I've seen with the pump is reversed polarity. Make sure the red wire and black wire is going into right connectors.

Okay, I removed the inline fuse and there was no voltage present there. Does that mean the SS box is bad?
