both hose and filter inlet are flexible.....clamping them together for a tight fitment is going to be impossible. plus, you can't overlap them since they are the same size in diameter.

i still haven't tune my car yet....been sitting in my garage for almost 2 weeks after installation. i guess in a couple of weeks.

I don't think their should be any noticable difference, other than the peace of mind, knowing your getting colder air into blower.

The stock middle pieace brings in fresh air. I dont really think u need to do a cai (not my setup but u get the idea).

I like the idea... plus the stock middle piece can cover up some of the crap, if you don't have your engine bay done up nicely. I might have to look into this, thanks Mr. pharmD

Hmm...how hard would it be to make a diverter from the bottom of the stock bumper opening to the filter? Similar to the Stillen Brake Duct cooler.
