Cold air intake for Vortech

I remember seeing someone do this... a cold air intake for the vortech blower. Any help for the thread would be great, as well as any other info.

Are you concerned with Hydrolocking since the filter is so low now?

This topic has been discussed several times about regular CAI. You really shoudln't have a problem unless the filter gets submerged completely. It would be the same as a normal CAI, if not a little higher, pending on how low you want the filter to be. There should be no problem of hydrolocking.

If you look in his diagram, he puts where he tapped a hole for it. You don't really need to do this. You can just let the crank case hose vent out to the atmosphere.

Gdragon - Why do you need the pvc pipe? Can't you just put the hose over the filter opening since they are the same size?
