Vortech/Procharger Question.....

Can I get flames out my tail pipe like the Supra/300ZX guys get when letting off the gas with a centrifugal or is that with a turbo only??

LOL that is either a flamethrower setup or backfire... turbos don't normally do that unless the calibration is really sh!tty and the engine keeps back firing

i'm not particularly familiar with nitrous setups, but i would assume that there is a chance that if they are running it... excess gas could continue to ignite through the exhaust? but that is a wild guess

I think its if you are running alittle rich with high temps in the exhaust you get it. I know alot of mildly modded STi's and Evo's can do this when they get on it and then let off quickly. I have the ProCharger and I think mine does it at higher RPMs and I decided to completely let off and then shift - it doesn't shoot out though, it just makes a tiny glow in the tail pipe for less then a second.
