Personal loans or credit cards...If you don't have that high of limit then you will have a hard time getting it at a good rate...Make sure its not 21% interest rate...Look at the fine print...

it's bad idea to finance mods, especially with a credit card.

If you save up you pay no interest but you have no credit score. You won't have enough credit to get a higher limit or won't have enough to buy a house. Car loans and note loans and some credit cards are what you need to build credit for bigger things in life...Mortgage or business loan if you decide to create a business...

0% 10k Amex FTW! lol

I don't see the problem with using a cc to buy mods as long as you pay it every month and pay the balance in full every few months. It gets you what you want now and builds your credit.

I know MRC finances, but he's on the East Coast. Not sure about West Coast. Try contacting Vortech for a sponshorship

Wow. For your own financial health and well-being I hope you are joking.

Otherwise, that is one of the least intelligent philosphies I have ever heard. It's also funny, I laughed.

For an item such as a mod, which is a want not a need, do not buy it if you don't have the money. Period.

If you have the money and want to improve your credit rating, buy the mod with your credit card and then pay off the balance with your cash before the payment date.

Overextending yourself because of mods to your car is a great idea only to Mr. Visa, until you have to file for bankruptcy.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, "i would do it through a credit card" was what I mentioned. Your posts are contradicting one another.

Like you speak of above, a bank loan, or line of credit, would be good options IF you have the money to pay off the loan in full prior to the accumulation of interest. The goal is not to pay any interest, which a line of credit would allow for. Most loans will involve a service fee, I think.

Regardless, credit cards, loans, LOCs are ALL ways to build your credit if you are responsible with your management of them.

I'm just trying to save you from yourself, bud. Even a "noob" can see the potential for financial misery here...
