Would any of you recommend to boost or just stay naturally aspirated, of course with some goodies under the hood?

Boost is definitely more fun than NA!!

BTW, I have a whole 6k miles of boosted fun in a year and a half. Low miles FTMFW!!!

I'll update this thread when I stop feeling so lazy too.

06 G35 coupe 6mt with 34k miles, I bought the care used with Aps T setup already on the car, performance clutch and flywheel (couldnt find out what specific setup). Had the car since 12k miles. Infiniti did the install.. (I know I know). I put 500cc injectors, motordyne plenum spacer from mrc, unichip (tuned at carv2) then retuned at mrc. 3.5inch Aps exhaust, greddy bov, boost, air/fuel, oil temp gauges. 8psi max, @340 hp.. Julian at mrc said I am losing hp at high boost bc my actuator??? that make sense.. anyone know how i can get back to the 400's where I am told I should/could be?

Update after one year one month. Turbonetics kit with Precision SC61 Turbo at 8.8 PSI 377RWHP and 375 RWTQ. Installed and tuned by Jeremy Tibbs.

Car has held up for 12K (57K on car) with aggressive abuse but has finally gave up. Pretty sure it is the headgasket. Oh well time for a complete overhaul. I wanted more power anyway. 500+ here I come!!

Sounds like a bitter/sweet situation. Sorry to hear about the failure but I guess it is also a testament to the VQ to put up with that in stock form for
12K miles and...now you have a great excuse to build the motor! I remember emailing you on youtube after seeing your video, that car hauled butt! I too have the Turbonetics system with Meth injection and just turned 15K miles since the install. I have a more modest tune at around 350WHP and drive it like a grandpa with limited thrashings. Not a day of trouble (knock knock knock!!!) and I have driven it literally coast to coast twice along with 60 mile round trips to work every day. Nobody can argue with me about the reliability of this system on a modest tune. I am a big fan of Turbonetics. Good luck on the build, I look forward to seeing the results.

Couldn't agree with you more. I'm coming up on 24k boosted on stock block with JWT twins at 355whp. 1 track day with 5+ autocrosses and I beat on it everyday. No motor problems. The car has even seen 14psi by accident multiple times.

I am looking at a few different options. I may go with a built short block and keep the ST and add meth and NO2. I may go with twins. Not sure yet.

I have also been talking to my buddy that owns a local performance shop here in town about doing a 2JZ ST swap. I think that would be wild as hell in a sedan. 2JZswap.com has there kit on the market now for $2,200.00 for the 350. I have not talked to them yet about if it will work on the G Sedan.
