Vrt Thread

Hey guys..Im sure many of the hardcore FI fans have already come across this thread at my350z...But as a fellow member of this site, I thought it was appropriate that I provide the link to this thread...Its a must read before anyone makes any decisions regarding FI...Lets keep this civil and have an open mind until we hear further...But until then, try to catch up on the reading...It took me a good hour!

I heard the exact same things being alleged in that thread way before that thread was even made. I'm talking a few months ago when I was looking into going FI. It's pretty sad that a shop like VRT can screw people the way they have and get away with it as long as they did. But it looks like the truth is finally coming out and coming back to bite them in the a$$! I just feel bad for people that got sh1tty work done on their cars or got screwed out of money.

I won't name names, but it's not the first shop to go down in flames

What pisses me off the most about shops like that is that they don't itemize stuff. I have an invoice 4 pages long with EVERYTHING itemized, including labor. I know where every penny of my money went. They just quote you, then bill you an xtra 5k and you don't know where that money went.

The fact that they charged a person's cc without their authorization is ludacrous!

Absolutely. That's the way it should be. My first invoice from GTM looks nothing like my final bill because of the many adjustments/additions that we made. But every change is noted and accounted for on the invoice. Everything is there for you to see what you paid for and how much you paid.
