is it safe to put the intercoller behind the factory bumper so should i replace it with an aftermarket?? i heard that there might be a cooling issue if i put the intercooler behind the factory one.

It's hard to understand what you are asking. There is no factory intercooler cause we don't have forced induction vehicles (stock).

For FI applications, the intercooler usually goes in front and below the stock radiator.

Are you wondering about airflow to an IC because of the style of the oem bumper cover?

well unless you went jwt, yes, though there are guys here on the forums who run stock with a mid intercooler, its probably best if you get an aftermarket bumper with a big mouth, ie: kuruma, greddy, charge speed, or you could cut a big hole in your stock bumper, but without a doubt it will look incredibly uglayyyyy

so but is anybody in here running there turbo setup with the factory front bumper with the intercooler? just worried that it might cause alot of heat. and unfortunately i went with the greddy setup with a built motor with BC 4.15L stroker kit.

i think on the TN kit the IC comes wit dual fans? maybe you can custom make something for your greddy IC or get dual ICs. just my .02

I am,... but will probably upgrade in the future. This really depend on how many PSI are you running, I know Hex also has the stocker for now and he's pushing 10psi on his Vortech. The only problem that might happen is that your IAT temp might go up a little especially on hot days 90+, having a EGT gauge will also help you to monitor your Engine.
