But what about WHP? I know Sentry did say that freeing up the exhaust with Vortech will decrease you boost but will increase your WHP. Isn't that as long as you did gain HP with a lower Boost is a good thing? As far as I know PSI is also a big factor so you want the lowest PSI you can run that will give you the max power.

I believe this is true to a point. When you are flowing too much, there will not be enough boost pressure which is the ultimate factor in making the extra power. You have to find a happy medium. And hey, if Sam from GTM is on boat with me then I'm not complaining .

This is exactly right. Because the exhaust is flowing so well and so freely, my car would only make 7psi max. When Sam dynoed my car before the recent changes, I was hitting a little bit over 10psi. We did anticipate the changes lowering my boost a bit but not this much. And because there are not many, if any, RevUp engines running the 2.87 pulley, everything that we are doing is kinda by trial and error. This exhaust is awesome but definitely better suited for a T/TT G.

wow, that is a big drop of PSI I was thinking of maybe 1 or 2 as a max drop. I'm just curious, what is your WHP at 7psi?

Just a bit under 400whp @ 7psi. If we can get the boost to 8-9psi, I will easily be at about approx. 420-430whp.

Is the hks true dual? Is that the reason for switching out the greddyevo?

They are both true dual. The Greddy just has bigger piping for more flow that the HKS.

^^^Exactly. They are both true dual. HKS is 2.25 inch piping and GReddy Evo TT is 2.75 inch piping. I thought that this would help me get more out of my setup . . . . but I was wrong. I lost too much back pressure.
