Blunt, I've drooled over your e30 on R3vlimited. I'm dying to pick up an e30 M3 shell, but we all know how easy those are to come by.

If you want cheap then E-manage will suite you but I wont recommend it. I'm not a fan of re-flash especially in your case so the cheapest will probably an SS or Unichip. Since you have saved a pretty good $$$ then I suggest to just shell out some $$$ and get a Utec with map sensor. Since you are a DIY kinda guy then Utec is very easy to tune as long as you know what you are doing. You can get the Utec for around $700-$800 with map sensor or get a used one for less than $600.

Since there is going to be a lot of trial and error especially on the Tuning part, then I really suggest that you get at least Utec. Utec will give you complete control of your Injector/Fuel and is capable of knock retardation in case knock is detected when under load.

Personally i would go with Haltech or ProEfi..both are standalones.. but those aren't really budget management systems

next best thing would be the UTEC like FI'd mentioned

More parts have come in, just haven't had time. Work is nuts right now, hopefully this weekend I can have a few hours to work on it.

Congratulations, you just made your own Turbonetics Kit LOL

I second the Split Second box for the budget engine management. It's what JWT TT kits have. You could find one off a Vortech or JWT TT kit for around $100. It's been proven and pretty reliable.

Fabricating is one part and is not the biggest hurdle. The key is will it be as efficient as the other kit. Remember TN had overboosting problem and had to produce a relocation pipe to avoid it. Putting pipe together doesn't mean the flow will be efficient. To many variable and that is why there is a lot of trial and error, though it is doable, but it only takes one huge miscalculation and your Engine is toast. Also will the other parts can perform to it's full potential? Will it be as reliable as the branded parts out there? Will the BOV actually release all the extra pressure to prevent compressor surge? Will the wastgate dump all the extra exhaust to avoid overboost? We'll see in the end and I'm also curious to find out too. JMHO.
