Vortech Upgrade with 440 Injectors

I have a g35 coupe 5AT, just got my internals
Arias 9.0 pistons
Eagle rods
arp L19 head stud
arp main stud
(Thanx to sharif@forgedperformance )

and i have got a 440cc injectors

now am running vortech with stock pulley with emanage

i was wondering which belt i can upgrade for the vortech, without facing any issues with slippage or changing my injectors? (dont forget i have a 5AT, with just cooling upgrade)

If you have a built bottom end, you should be able to do the 2.87 pulley (non rev up), but increase inector size to say...650s.

I'm running the 2.87 with 550cc injectors and a Walbro fuel pump and it works fine. But belt slippage is something that can happen even with the stock pulley. So there really is no way to completely eliminate that issue. Over time, belts wear out and/or stretch which will cause some slippage. Also, if you upgrade to the 3.12 pulley, you don't necessarily need to upgrade your injectors but it is probably a good idea to do so and get a tune. With the 2.87 pulley, you would definitely need to upgrade your injectors and also get a tune.

With the 440cc injectors, I think that you will fine with the 3.12 pulley.

With your setup, you should skip straight to the 2.87 and get some 550's or 650's. I'm running the 3.12 w/440's at the moment.

I have the 3.12 pulley and 440 injectors, which are controlled by a UTEC and Walbro pump.

If you go to the 3.12 pulley, you will need a shorter belt than the belt you have with your 3.33 puley.

With your 5AT, you might want to consider a valve body kit too.

A tranny fluid cooler and a VB will help save your tranny and help it shift better . Best mod for a F/I AT5 . 440 injectors maybe good enough even for a 2.87 pulley . Depending on other mods you have . Why upgrade the injectors until you actually need to . Im running the T-trim blower with 20psi and 550 injectors and Im still ok......for now.........after I get it all working right , I may need to go to 650's .

There are a couple people running the 2.87 pulley with 440cc injectors. The injector duty cycle is almost max'ed out, but its possible.

550's are definitely a better option with the 2.87. Better to be safe than sorry.

If you are tuned safely with 440's and dont have to increase the fuel preasure to get there . 550's are just over kill . It does not making it any safer !

If the 440's are maxed out or close to being maxed out, that's definitely not a good thing. My point is that 550's tuned correctly is more than enough and he wouldn't even be close to maxing out. 550's are not overkill.
