I was on the high way plently of open road ahead of me soo i spray the nitrous and i hear a big bang. Yea never good! Anyway after I had only the intake blown off i fixed it really quick and took the car home.. Apparently i had an nitrous intake backfire. THe shop where i had the kit installed said it was no big deal and it was because i did not have a window switch and must have sprayed the nitrous at low rpm. I would like some feedback on what causes this, how it can be avoided and what not becasue i sprayed at right above three grand so i dont think it was too low.. any feed back would be greatly appreciated!!

I used to hit the spray at 2000 in 1st or 2nd gear, but you go through the rpms so fast in those gears it is no big deal.

Helluva of a torque blast though!!!!

Post up some pics of your nitros install; maybe the shop put the nozzle in an odd location. also, what jets are you running for fuel and n2o?

 

i would take pictures but everything is realllly well hidden.. and you can see everything.. the shark nozzle was put on the bottom of the intake instead of the hole the AEM Intake has for the nitrous in order to conceal it better.. ive sprayed 1 and 2 gear as well and the car went wild.. the only think i noticed is after teh fuel pump went in the gas meter is going crazy and we couldnt find a gas leak or anything but it goes up and down constantly..
