True, but it doesn't feel like 410rwhp. I actually feel a power loss and that's probably from the ECU adjusting timing from the lower octane.

Edit: My EGTs have went up since I've moved here. That's another sign of retarded timing.

I dont know what the elevation of Chicago is , but Socal is sea level basiclly and Im sure the weather is quite different . Your tune isnt in the same area of your maps and it isnt running the same because of it . I dont think it has much to do with the gas you are using .

So with a conservative tune, would you say its safe to run the 3.12 pulley on a stock Vortech setup...would this eliminate the need for a tensioner pulley mod?

The pulley tensioner mod is nice, but if you have no problem making 9-10 psi without it, then don't bother. It really comes in handy with the smaller pullies.

very nice man!! i cant believe you have it all installed already. you dont play around.

we usually see 20-25 more hp with the pulley change from 3.33 to 3.12, we also see another 20-25 with the 2.87 pulley.

i love superchargers!!

let me know if anyone needs anything, i will take care of my fellow members for sure...

I never installed the 3.33 pulley, I started right out with the 3.12 and dyno'd on a DD at 390hp (410 dyno jet corrected). at 8.8psi... I am now hitting 9.4 psi consistantly with the GTM mod and still using the 3.12 pulley.

I have a 2.87 in my garage waiting to go on but do not want to install it until I get my injectors / utec installed which I also already have. I wish time grew on trees...

i think your numbers might be alittle inflated. If u were stick then maybe but autos u seeing around 370hp on dynojet with your mods.

You might be right, I'll look for my dyno sheets since it was awhile ago... I usually dyno on a dyno dynamics, I did dyno on a Dynapack last tho... I'll try to find that dyno laying around...

If I remember correctly, on the dyno dynamics at DynoComp I saw right around 374 and from what I recall to equate to a Dyno Jet you ad 10% to that to get to 411.4ish...

I gotta find the dynos but nevertheless, we all know dynos compared to other dynos are almost meaningless and they are more of a tuning tool.
