You're gonna love your Defi gauges. I get compliments on them all of the time. Great choice!

Get whatever gauges you want to look at. By the time you see something going wrong on a gauge your screwed anyways.

+1
lol ain't that the truth

they can help you troubleshoot and possibly understand just what sort of problem you're dealing with, but only a few things will give you any sort of actual warning that you should try to make some sort of adjustment or add more oil or that you should stay out of the throttle until the car cools down

I don`t think So !! i`ll tell you why:

1st of all you stated something about the cost, are you so happy to spend like $600 for the Autometer Wideband Gauge ?? it wont run alone it needs the Control Unit and its for like $200 and the gauge alone is for $399 so thats puts it in the $600 range ?

i think you should TOTALLY go AutoMeter or Totally forgot about AutoMeter and Get Defi Gauges with Either Innovate XD Gauge or DB Series Gauge or AEM but i totally Recommend the Innovate either one of them but the DB is so damn Close to the Defi Style Gauges it will totaly become totally black one u turn off the ignition, but its more of a reddish instead of the Amber color, so you might consider the other Innovate and both of them are 52 mm u just get a Tripple 52 Gauge Pod and dremel 2 of the holes to fit the 60 mm Defi`s.

Thats my 2 cents.

P.S: the pic (post #12) of the blue (Hexxum001`s car) car u saw with 3 Defi`s and a WB Gauge on top of them is Innovate XD Gauge NOT AutoMeter at all.

I know Hexxum's is not the Autometer...Slider's is the Autometer that I want. As far as the extra cost...well if its necessary than its necessary. But I was quoted around $1000 for the DEFI boost and oil gauges, gauge pod, and the Autometer wideband a/f and all necessary components to make it work. So... we'll see...

Good point! I guess I wasn't paying attention to the fact that it says 8 degrees Celsius.
