the one that diagram is talking about is not the pulley i need to replace with the stillen one. its the idler pulley above that one. so if i just loosen the tensioner bolt from the bottom of the car, the belt should slide off right? and i dont think by just taking off the bolt the pulley will come off regardless...im assuming the belts are on tight, so the pulley is also being held in place by the belt...correct me if im wrong

A holds tension, B sets tension that part should be the tensioner. You may need a pulley puller to get the idler pulley you're talking about off.

so if i just loosen b, the belt wont loosen? the stillen instructions just say take of belt and pulley, and ttrank had told me its just four bolts. im pretty sure i dont need a pulley puller, i just need to loosen the belt.

That's right the IP is just 4 bolts. You need to loosen the tension on the tensioner to get the belt off, A locks the pulley in place so it doesn't loosen up with the belt.

When belts are loose the pics are the adjustment point to make them tighter.

Rookie's right. You need to loosen the nut on the pulley so it can move and then use B to move it down.

just to clarify, that pulley with the nut on it IS NOT the pulley being replaced by the stillen double pulley correct? so i just loosen the nut on the pulley, turn that bolt under the pulley counter clockwise, the belt loosens, and belt comes off...correct? i sound like such a newb, but i wanted to do this install myself so i can learn more bout my car. wow this install is gonna be fun!
