So many turbo kits, which one to choose??

Hey guys,

I currently have my heart set on the JWT TT kit. I've heard really good things about it! But I told one of my co-workers today and he said not to go with a TT kit for my G. He said I'd have so much power that I'd get dusted off the line while spinning wheels through the first two gears.

Is he on point? Should I go with a kit that has lesser power? I really want a kit that feels OEM (I've heard the JWT TT feels stock), but I want to be able to hang off the line too.

Any advice?

Thanks,
B

Your coworker is an ***. Get good tires and find yourself a proper tuner.

My advise is to get the JWT 530 or 700BB ( depending on setup) and then have your co-worker stand in front of your car then run his azz over

Good set of tires and you will be fine.

I love my 700BB.

I'm personally going with JWT TT 530'S for now. It's like anything else, you have to learn how to launch her, then you'll be fine.

and yes it gives a linear type feel..great kit

I actually hate the JWT exhaust. The piping is horribly small, inefficiently designed (IMO) and the twin intercooler setup used in the kit I think stupid for a car with only one throttle body. Also, what's the point of having boost if you can't have a ricey bov? lol

However, plenty have the JWT kit, and plenty make really really good power with it. It is too stock looking for me and the 530BB kit turbo's are way too small IMO

That's funny man. A real jokester.

Thats why 99% of people buy an aftermarket exhaust or have a custom one made. 530BB are way to small? Ha, yea they are small compared to other's but lets be for real, those turbos will out power the stock block. This is kind of rude but I think you are ment to be in a riced out civic than a G. But thats MY opinion. Also about the intercooler, Thats why you do not work for JWT. They made it for the front bumper of the G. Why would you have an intercooler that is blocked by the bumper cover, like Greddy? Now do NOT say well they make aftermarket bumper covers, because I know they do. But does that mean everyone will buy one? NO. Im going to stop now.

Sorry I'm in a rough mood, school sucked.
