I'm surpriced at some of the #'s the HKS has been putting out. I never thought it would see 350+ to the wheels. Guess I was wrong.
Can't wait to see people pushing this kit. I'm wondering how a 400+ powerband would look like on this SC. It seems to be putting out better low-end torque numbers than the Vortech. Though, until proven, the Vortech can put out the best peak numbers for a supercharger (has seen 500 rwhp on the T-trim...stock SC Trim on 2.87's can push over 400).

edit: Just read that you already own a gen. 1 kit that only requires a few modifications/upgrades to get up and running.
If Kraftwerks (using Rotrex S/C) ever made a kit for our cars however, that would be a much more viable and sensible option imo.

Actually make that a +5

Sam and I worked it out so that he will be making the supplemental kit at GTM with one of the shop cars. Once the kit is "bolt-on" ready, he will be shipping it to GRD (only HKS pro dealer in IL). GRD will then install the kit and do a final tune with the rest of my supporting mods.
Shipping my car was considered ($1k+), but as my G is my only car and DD, the down-time would be hard on me, and a rental car would be additional $$$.
I'm still wondering if there will be any substantial differences in the revup kit (full set of injectors? no need for internal modification to flow better?). But I plan on purchasing a Vpro, smaller pulley from GTM at the very least, maybe a set of 600cc injectors (if the ones included in the kit are not sufficient for my power goals), maybe also the JWT fuel unit and a Fuildampr crank pulley. I'll buy an AFK from GRD as well.
Additional supporting power/breathing mods are Cosworth plenum, Nismo Headers, Power Enterprise metalling HFC, Tanabe y pipe, Amuse titan exhaust, etc.
Aiming for ~400whp

Curious to whats the big draw to get a blower fitted to you car from 1/2 way across the country. Is it to say you are the 1st? The dynos looks no different than a tuned vortech. DOnt wanna say this thread is full of nut-huggers, but the HUGE expense and time to have essentially a custom blower kit that makes less HP than "common easy to source part" options, just makes me ask why.
no flame intended, really curious what justifies the additional cost to you?

Sam offered to do what no other pro dealer was willing to do (make a supplemental kit) for me.
If you see when I started this thread, and older posts regarding the HKS GT SC, I have been following the release and availabililty of this kit since I first heard about it. I knew it was the kit I wanted for my car. If that is nut-hugging than so be it, I don't have a problem being called a HKS nut-hugger.
As far as additional costs, there were none for me. That's sometimes one of the benefits of "being the first" at a shop that is ready, willing, and able to faciliate customer requests and provide groundbreaking work.
Sam and GTM are improving upon the kit in many ways that HKS and all other shops have not been able to do, and will likely never do, and GTM will reap the rewards, as they should.
As far as the Vortech goes, I never wanted it. I'm picky about the parts that go on my car (Amuse, ARC, Endless, OS Giken, etc.)
The wait suks, but it's just how it goes. I waited 3 months to get my Amuse exhaust, 2 months for my OS Giken STR, but only 7 days for my Endless BBK (Thanks Andy!)
I'll gladly wait for something that I truly want, then get instant grantification from something that is readily available, but not as appealing. But, that's just me
