I feel you guys. I love HKS products too. I had HKS exhaust for like 2 years. If the HKS GT SC was available when I got my Vortech, I would have gotten it also.

 

Wonder how hard it would be to do a larger custom FMIC on the HKS SC. I guess if I were spending 8k+, I would atleast want a larger FMIC

Im wondering if the higher boost has to do with the higher pitch noise. You didn't happen to have video of it when the hood was closed and revving do you?

I went to GTM today. I saw a Z with GTM's stage 1 HKS SC kit installed, got to hear it IRL. It didn't have the "bird call" sound, but maybe it didn't get revved up high enough. Install was very clean, and it sounded great.

 

Soooo any updates? Anyone else get an HKS installed? Any feedback from those who have had it for a while now?

Looks like I'm the only one so far on driver that I know off besides another member name "coolbreeze", which has the out-of-the box set up, stg.1

 

Actually out of the box is state 0. Stage one does some minor mods the some locations of some thingys some minor mod to the supercharger...or the compressor or something...thingy. LOL. Anyways...I'm looking at stage one.

ur ish sounds derrty when i heard it at the hb meet... sounds just like a turbo when you rev.. i wanted that bov w/my turbo but i went with greddy.. but love the hks setup.. wonder when people push it to the limits what kinda #'s we can expect

Im from Singapore, and I drive a 350Z here..Really love the forums you guys have there as alot of information can be attained and shared..

Hope you guys don't mind me or find me intruding, just need help from you guys..

I have an 04 Z thats equipped with the HKS GT supercharger..In my country, the GT supercharger kit has been available since early 2007/late 2006..we have around 20 Z's here running on the kit..looking at the prices that you guys get, we over in Singapore would find it really a good deal..I paid USD 13,000 for the GT supercharger kit installed (350Z's here cost like USD 130,000 brand new, G35's even more, but only 2 in the country. R35 GTR's are everywhere)..its not even a stage 1 or 2, its just the kit from HKS with the pre-tuned Fcon and additional injectors..Shops with expertise like GTM do not exist here..

Problem is, all of the guys here have no way to up the boost on the GT supercharger..we don't have competent shops to do CNC machining and balancing, so a pulley is out of the question..

To cut it short for this post, I was wondering if any of you guys can help me get the smaller supercharger pulley from GTM? I have a built engine and a tuner who can tune my Fcon,so Im ready for more boost, but I just can't get the pulley..GTM will not sell to me as they require my car to be there (but thats impossible as Im like frigging far away)..As a token of appreciation to anyone who can get me a piece of the smaller GT supercharger pulley, Im willing to offer 50 to 100 bucks for the help provided (on top of the pulley cost of course)..I know it may not be alot of money, but I hope somebody can help me out?
