Me too!

The shop told me their dyno was leaking hydraulic fluid. They ordered new parts for it and should arrive today or Monday.

I'm hoping I can get tuned Monday. I hope I can enjoy the new power before it gets too cold here

I would really love to put one of these in, black out the pipes and IC (because it just looks funny and out of place so hide it instead) and be happy with 350hp. CARB pending just sucks though. Luck would have it, California rejects them and all of a sudden these things arent legal.

While Vortech's QC is a concern, the fact that they are already CARB approved may be the final deciding factor, for me atleast as I don't have the cash to Supercharger *****

Nice

Hey Sam, do you know how often HKS recommends changing out the traction fluid/oil on the GT S/C and can it be ordered through you?

Thanks!

I called HKS directly 2 weeks ago and the tech informed me that since the supercharger oiling system is closed it does not need an oil change for life. BTW a can of traction oil is $200.00

^^^ update, CB. You've had your system for awhile now. Any complaints? Happy as a clam? Overall performance? Anything you'd do different?

I have a stage 0 out of the box with 300 whp and no complaints at all. I use this as a daily driver and I will be tracking it so I did not want to go for more power and prefer reliability. With the HKS the car's drivability is much improved. It should've come this way from the factory. Torque starts at a lower rpm than other systems probably because of the torque drive and the speed of the impeller and it pulls until redline. If you are looking for more power, you'll need to have GTM upgrade the s/c and the pulley along with fuel pump/injectors. Ask G35Rider92649 for his impression on an upgraded sc.

He went Stage 4 which would be more than I'm after. I'm thinking I'd be content with Stage 0 or 1. I'm all for power but like you, it's a DD and I prefer to lean towards reliability so really, your opinion is better.

Nice, that's a relief. Another advantage of the HKS over the Vortech.

I loooove my stage 4! Add a little water/meth and you'll love it even more , it runs like a champ and I haven't ran into any issues yet! -knock on wood!- haha I use it for daily driver too, I never been to the tracks and not looking foward to go anytime soon, no regrets!!!!

I dusted so many cars also in the streets, you guys couldn't even imaaagine, especially the looks on the faces of these guys when my heavy **** g35 blows past them going roooaaaaaaawwwwr-shhrreewwwwwwweeeeeeeeee pssssssssshhhhetewtewtewtew! I gun it full throttle almost everyday or every other day, no problems, only issue that occurs is needing more money for gas and for more boost juice
