I dont need to take the spacer out, really. I still have an NRG strut bar though and with the engine cover removed and the bar slammed all the way down, it still doesnt quite fit. My hood bends ever so slightly with the bar rubbing against upper plenum and hood. Since I'm switching to a TS hood, me thinks bending it (the hood), even slightly would not be good for CF and cracking will occur (more rapidly than it will already . ) Otherwise, there is no reason to take it out.

I do not remember the cost of the black out. I do remember asking about it being anodized and .....I dont remember the answer. I'm still hoping to sneak out there today to check it out but the warmth of the last couple of days has made me terribly sick with SoCalitosis (thats the medical term for lazy)...............

TBG Dad!!!! DO NOT GET THE TS HOOD, IT WILL HIT THE SUPERCHARGER!!! How do i know? I have a TS Hood It doesn't clear, of course it shuts but it touches the supercharger, and you just have to put pressure and shut it down, leaves marks So I do not suggest it!!!!!!!

By looking at Jonnylaw's pic (looking good there), I'm assuming that you mean the piping next to the SC? Wouldn't that also mean it would hit on a regular hood as well? Please explain

stock hood clears fine. the sand casted part of the inlet of the sc does rub ever so slightly on the stock hood fiberglass insulation but with a utility knife you can outline where it rubs and relieve the strain. It does not touch the actual hood.

Ok, so then where the TS vents come down is where it hits the inlet? I dont want to put a hood on knowing that its not going to fit right so I'm trying to see what hits what and what options are there.

So basically the hood would have to be modified near the second vent to be able to fit without bending, if I'm understanding right. In your guess-timate, how much would you say? Less than 1/8"? Maybe I'll wait and try and find a good deal on a Chargespeed CF hood. The different venting should make it ok and it looks much better than the VIS Slayer.

Also, from the pics (@GTM), it looks like your IC piping is pushing on your KurumaZ?

Hey man, not to be a pain but any way you could snap a coupla shots, open and closed to give me an idea as to whats hitting and where? I'm having a ton of trouble visualizing which part of the hood is hitting the inlet.

All things going well, I get the car back tomorrow. I'll post the pics I took later but everything is coming along nicely and I can not wait to drive it tomorrow. I'm still not sure how the TS will work but its believed we can do a slight modification to the vent in question without making it look weird. We shall see.

First off, Thank You Sam @GTM for making the impossible possible!

I'm really enjoying this setup and the added power. I really need some wider wheels and stikier tires.

As far as numbers: 391.8 whp and 356.3 trq, Dynapack.

I'm scanning the dyno printouts and will post with some pics and initial impressions in a few.
