Guys, here are a couple additional observations. Looking at the torque curves, it can't be a VQ35. Look at how low the torque is at 2-2500 rpms. Obviously the car is at WOT, but even off-boost the torque should be over 200 ft-lb. A stock car puts out 220 lb-ft at this point. If you look at any of the Greddy or SSR dynos, they are even well above that at low rpms. Then look at the torque and HP peaks. Even if a boost controller is used; once the wastegate opens, the torque curve will flatten until the cams run out and power curve will continue to rise until the cams and heads max out. Because the Torque is still rising past 4000 rpms, this would only be possible with a very large turbo/turbos on the engine. But then the power falls, unlike a boosted VQ that powers into the redline. What's even more strange is that the dyno looks EXACTLY like a stock cam KA24 240SX with a big turbo kit on it. Hmm....

So now what forum is that again? Nice picture and all but a link would be even nicer. I only ask cause right now I am trying to defend the VQ35DE against one of my friends that claims that he saw a vid of a TT 350z going up aginst an EVO with only a boost controller and couldn't pull on it much. i mean I think there was something wrong with the 350 cause a TT 350 up aginst an evo shouldn't even be a question unless I missed something somewhere. Then again it could be a video like the E36 M3 vid that that guy was claiming showed a G getting smoked (five shots of the G pulling away and 2 of the M pulling away and he claims the G got smoked, meanwhile it was a showoff video). Maybe I should get the 350 vid and post it. I'll work on that but in the meantime you work on helping me prove that the VQ has potential with some real proof.

Check, this out my friend fabricated an injen cold air intake, instead of it dropping down to the fender, he added extra tubing, and had it come in to my car and sit in front of air conditioners vent, so when it was time to race I would blast my air conditioner, and run like 11.45 quarter mile at 216.00 MPH, but keep in mind my G35 is running 26" Davin spinners, like the ones on my Escalade. If anyone wants help with this setup don't PM me. LOL
