Quick answer: turbos will ultimately yield more power + cost more. I'm not sure what most superchargers put down, but I'm guessing 400whp is the

upper end of what they put down. I don't recall seeing a 500whp supercharged VQ, but anything's possible if your pockets are deep enough.

I would recommend a turbocharger. Superchargers require synthetic blinker fluid and oil changes at least every 200 miles or so. Much more maintenance. With a turbo, you can use normal blinker fluid and the turbo automatically cleans your oil so you actually never ever have to change it. Any other questions, please feel free to let me know.

no problem bro. i've installed numerous turbos on my car and it's actually a piece of cake. it's an easy DIY that can be done in an hour or so with virtually no tools. with the crazy gas prices, I would probably go with a hybrid conversion turbo which basically turns your car into a Toyota Prius on roids. I'm getting at least 35 MPG now so it was the best $900 I've spent on my car. Good luck with your decision.

no i've done at least 32 turbo installs on my car and the longest it ever took me was 1 hour. i think my record was somthing like 13 minutes. but i didn't change any of the fuses in my wheel well so the car ran like crap afterwards.
