There is no real site for dm2 motorsports. It is just a couple of us with full access of welders and a full machine shop with over 80yrs of machining knowledge. pm me if you are looking for something later mike

 

That is truth Dm2 Motorsports is our name that we came up with for all of the wacky ideas that we working on. I do mechanical engineering by day and screw with cars by night. Between Mike and I there is nothing that we can not build or have built.

We have been designing an piecing together out fuel retuen setup
Mike as been making intake manifold setups for over a year now
oil coolers / coolant elimnator setups
and a few other things

most of this stuff you can't see well in person or in pictures. the real advantage to these mods is to get useless crap off of your car. It makes it easier to work on and also makes for a more reliable car (fewer potentials for hose breakage.)

If you want to remove another thing, I wrote up another long thread on removing and bypassing the useless extra idler pulley on the front of our engines. It was originally the location for the fan clutch on the ealry '03 sedans that had mechanical fans on them. then, when all the Gs and Z got electric fans, nissan just left the belts the same and made a dummy pulley to replace the fan clutch pulley.

I love this kind of grass roots engineering. I grew up on it and now do pretty much the same type of work in the tube guitar amp industry.

I'm wondering what the Steelership tech's face would look like if you ever had some of this go in for warranty work. That pic would be priceless.

 

I followed in QuadCams steps and did it myself last spring, so far no coolant problems at all
