So after that 20k you spend already it's finally happening now

So are you buying a kit or making a kit youself? I see you bought parts so I guess you are making a kit yourself - that's what I'm doing but I got a long way to go.

^Lol yeah it was going to happen eventually I just wasn't sure about the route I was going with car. I actually picked up a complete Turbonetics kit and I am purchasing the other parts such as the rods, pistons, rings etc. Hopefully in another month or so when I have all the needed parts my build will start.

The TN kit has some piping problems and most people know this and TN knows it too. It can be fixed though.

^Yep thats why I upgraded my piping for better flow. BTW what kind of turbo kit are you going to go with? A lot of people have attempted it but not to many have completed it.

same what rookie said. dont try to be the biggest and baddest on the block it ends up being more of a chore than enjoying the boost. good luck man !

good luck, are you assembling the long block yourself? If you are I would recommend going over every single O ring to make sure you have all of them. And take your sweet time too, I took a solid week to put my longblock together to make sure I didn't miss one step and its still running strong

Yep me and one of my close friends (he's actually a mechanic) are gonna take on the task.

I couldnt have said it any clearer. Thanks Sin. People seem to misunderstand the concept of boost. Just because you have twins and a built motor doesnt mean your gonna enjoy it. Your car is in the shop more than you will drive it.

Mine is going to be a custom single turbo system 3.5" piping on the intake side, dual 3" on the exhaust side.

So far have the 3.5" piping for intake side. 90mm/3.5" MAF w/ housing, 3.5" inlet filter with 9" element for the turbo. Next thing I'm buying is the IC which is 26"x11" w/ a 5" core and I'll have to weld on a 3.5" inlet and outlet since they all only come up to 3". Then I'll buy the turbo and then a 4.2L stroker but I got a long way to go but the longer the wait the better the results The biggest problem is the fuel tank on the sedan which I'll have to change to a coupe one to get more fuel out of it

I'm thinking I'll do part of the exhaust and intake now to keep me happy first, then suspension and wheels and then Fi. So far I'm undecided.

^Just take your time and do some research. I've had plenty of FI'd Hondas in the past that all had their fair share of problems with boost. In the end it's all about having a reliable but yet fun car.
