Update: So it was raining pretty much all this weekend I got busy tearing down the motor. I removed the oil pan, the timing cover, the cams and the heads. Pics will be up shortly. I will be ordering my rods, pistons, bearings, studs etc sometime this week.
aka parts room....reminds me of builiding my mustang.....
what does 15k worth of parts look like well now you know lol
wife still didnt like the idea that i used the spare bedroom for parts but she got over it

Hahahahaa you should've seen me yesterday. I put down some really thick carpet I picked up from Building 19. It was 15.00 for a 5x9 peice of carpet so the motor was sitting on there. I dropped the oil pan and the little bit of oil left which was like half a quart poured out but luckily in the pan
After that everything else was just small bits of grease and oil which I just wiped here and there on the carpet.
