Best exhaust for FI - APS TT

Thinking of going back to Peformance Factory for a retune. What exhaust do you suggest which is not to loud but will give me the most power. Glad that the APS tt is not open dump. Any idea which 3" downpipe to get ? To save money I might just get a custom turbo back exhaust.

why not talk to performance factory. Exhausts are really preferential. You need something if you are TT that is dual and three inches wide (or 2.5" dual minimum). I have however seen a couple of 600 whp guys with the HKS hi power setup and it sounds great as well.

dont know if you remember meeting mike w/ the aps tt blk G

but he's been running the borla, for the longest time. not loud at all and he's making over 450rwhp

if you are gonna go w/ 3in down pipes, might as well get the APS 3.5in down pipes, and i would get the APS 3in exhaust. but thats gonna be way loud

which greddy tt exhaust? The older one is super ricey, and all greddy exhausts really sound the same. The new one doesn't sound great either.

I would go with the APS 3.5" downpipe. It is reasonably priced, should work well with your APS TT system, and is supposed to be very good quality.

If you want a quieter exhaust and won't be exceeding about 500 hp, you may consider the APS 2.5" downpipe.

I want a sleeper, so I'm looking to achieve 600-650 hp with the APS 2.5" downpipe and APS 2.5" True Dual Exhaust. I don't know if it will make it, but we will try.

I really like the APS 3" exhaust. IMO, everyone has the Greddy and it doesn't sound that great.

This one

I guess its just personal preference. the greddy evo tt i have on my g doesnt sound ricey at all. i had a JIC ti before so i have a good idea of whats really loud. its louder than the nismo but not as loud the 3-inch setups out there(the greddy has 2.75-inch piping) i can hold a conversation at cruise(75mph) and most people dont realize the car is heavily modded until i floor it and the exhaust exits through the dumps. if you're looking for subtle and enough flow for 500+whp, the greddy is a good idea. i you want 'look at me, i'm a heavily modded g35' they are quite a few 3" setups to get you to that power level. choice is yours.

That's me. Borla True Dual. Only 2.25" duals, but you can't hear it. It's just a little deeper tone than stock. But as Jose said, 450+ RWHP for 40k miles, and still going strong.
