Vortech problems!

Hey guys
I just need some input on possible reasons that could be the problem with my vortech

I've had it on for about 30,000 miles and I've been experiencing problems for about 10,000 miles but was too lazy to get it fixed.
The last time I tuned it, the guy said that my car was losing boost after 6000 rpm but thought nothing of it. Also, when I floor it, at the end I feel a big "thump" like I hit a wall or something. The noise of the supercharger also sonds a little different.

Please help!

if u losing boost it might be cause to belts not being tighten or a boost leak. Do u have a boost gauge and are u able to get pass 0psi or rev pass 3K rpm?

U need to give more information like what does the wideband read, etc. and maybe a dyno chart to determine if u are running too rich causing your motor to bog down (feel like hitting rev limit or wall).

welcome to my world. 4 years with this thing about 50k. car has allot of blow by no matter what you do. the belts are probably loss and you can have some oil leakage from a bad seal on the s/c. also dont forget to check your af sensor because if oil gets on that and the heat coats it, you can have some major lag at higher RPM.

Sounds like a catch can should be requirement for a Vortech car. IMO they should be on all G's but FI for sure.
