ive had issues with other places not including japtricks.

some of it being miscommunication issues, which i was open to resolve.

in order for a problem like this to be resolved, both parties have to be mature and willing to accept offers of help.

in my opinion, as i have had experiences, both + and - with japtricks, i would not recommend them to anyone.. again, this is my opinion. also, roger (tuner) was and still is a HUGE help. hes a great guy. jack was a cool guy too, but i dont know if his work was up to par (im not a tuner, i cant tell.)

I've had a few issues with my local shop APEX .. But they are ALL great people there and always helps me out whenever I have any issue of concern.

I highly recommend them for ANYTHING (they just aren't able to tune)

...as for the phonecall....i think there is some misunderstanding here...i spoke to Roger and he told me what he offered you...he stated that you were not happy with your tune....he then asked for some information to find out when the tune was done....you told him about 4 months ago...it was 4/17/08...ok...then he told you he would be happy to have you bring the car in to be looked at....and that 4 months had elapsed without any indication from you of dissatisfaction.....i can understand if your car was broken during this timeframe (transmission i assume) .....i did advise you that the transmission was going to be your weak link if i recall correctly.....i also informed you about the discrepancy between your wideband and mine...i felt confident in letting you go with the tune to the track...which i remember you telling me about.....so im having a hard time understanding your sudden dissatisfaction with my tune.....its just hard to believe you felt this way the entire time!?!...and said nothing!

jack, i think what jtrain is saying isnt 100% directed to you, but to roger.

whenever there is an issue, roger is so quick to point the finger. hes so unhelpful when it comes to service.

eric called me, VERY upset with the shop, saying that roger offered to waive the strap down fee of 75 dollars, which he says he does.

wtf is that?

what he told eric...was that we would allow him to dyno the car as if it were a normal baseline pull...and that would cost him nothing.....but if tuning needed to be done....we would then charge accordingly.....

The problem i had with my tranny was related to the electrical system, NOT horsepower.

Nice try though.

I PAID YOU to do a good job. I'm questioning that-- Shouldn't that be enough?

Yes.
