Okay- So Japtrix Fails
Doug is a well known antagonist and devils advocate on my350z.com
He is the real deal.
So aside from this brief dip into the 10's, does the car run otherwise correctly?
I just looked at the dyno chart, and can just barely see a slight...very slight dip in power as the AF moves towards the 10's.
Honestly, this dyno chart looks fine man. Nice flat torque curve, and good power.

If you say it's good enough then I guess it's good enough. I don't know how a tune could possibly change or if widebands really are that useless, but either way it looks like garbage from the drivers seat. Just wish it was handled differently- I was planning on having some other stuff done @ japtrix when I went back to make sure everything was status quo with my tune.
I had concerns, My wideband is reading 10.0...They wouldn't hear me, Jack comes on here and posts pictures of crack pipes. I don't need this- I'll take my business to a professional place instead.
I'll run up to orlando one of these days here soon. I'm washing my hands of japtricks.

i'm just not buying this story based on the video.. it seems his is enjoying his car.. he doesn't report the problem for 4 months.. if his A/F was messed up from the begging.. why is he beating on the car like that in the video..
I must admit Jack's original post was very unprofessional.. and it doesn't weight the story side towards the OP when he behaves like that..
but based on the video and the timeline.. i'm not buying this story

Jtrain......Doug has a point....the car looks and sound good in the video. Is this video before Japtrix tuned the car or is Japtrix the only one to tune it

Point taken- It seems to have gotten worse... ON the way to my buddy's house I can't hit boost with out going COMPLETELY RICH ..
Somethings wrong- and japtrix wont even look at it.. so whatever.

no shop is perfect, however its how you deal with issues that will determine the long term or short term of your relationship with the shop.
If i was to tell you my car was tuned once and i never had a problem i would be lying to you..
things change on your car from the time it leaves the shop.. but if you call them up pissed off and they get pissed off.. then its going to be a pissing match going no where..
so from what i understand.. Japtrix offered you a free dyno pull to see if your A/F changed.. then told you if you wanted to re-tune it would cost you money.. which is what every shop does.. even if your tune changes, they won't keep re-tuning your car to ensure its always perfect..
wear and tear, spark plugs.. sensors.. tempreture.. mods... so many things will change your tune.. usually when you have a good relationship with a shop .. you really try and excercise patience until your problem is resovled.
for all you know your tune could be something simple..
i know recently my car was losing power and my SLIP lights were coming on.. i consulted my Tuner/Installer Julian @ MRC... i consulted Sharif.. i read the forums.. and i finally pulled my codes and found out my Camshaft Sensor was bad.. i replaced it and everything was back to normal..
recently also my car started smoking @ WOT.. but i didn't call Julian up and tell him to fix my car because my tune is fcked up.. i installed a homemade catch can and replaced my PVC and the car is running like a champ again..
Good to you going to PF.. everything might be great in the begining.. however if you have the same issue you had with Japtrix.. PF is not going to give you a free dyno and take your abuse just because they don't want you to blast them on the forum..
Maybe i am getting old and i start to realize things arn't that serious.. you really need to learn to think things through before you act next time.
Now with your current problem.. i suggest you search my350z for simular problems and pm a couple tuners and see if its something simple you can fix yourself.. it maybe a sensor.. what EMS are you running?
My experiences with Japtrix have been great. Both Rogers and Jack have provided exemplary service. Roger C. even sat in my car with his laptop tuning my F-CON while we drove up and down Southern Blvd (west of 441, of course). From all of my experiences, these guys care about their work. Not only that, when there is something they are unsure about, they admit it and help to look for answers. Sharif at Forged Performance and Sam at GTM have been extremely helpful and, from my perspective, have a great working relationship with Japtrix. Indeed, Japtrix referred me to Sharif for many of the parts that they did not carry and coordinated the re-flash of my ECU with GTM. I am a happy customer of Japtrix, Forged Performance and GTM.
Nothing against Japtrix since I never dealt with them, but I do remember the OP posting a video where his car looked and sounded crazy rich... with smoke coming out and some backfiring....

my wideband seemed to read significantly lower than my tuners (over 1.5 points) I'm taking it back in as soon as I get back into town to get it checked. not sure what's going on with the tune.
I hope I don't receive the same treatment form my tuner as you have from yours.

But let's go back to the time thing.
My car has been
BROKEN
I might have put 100-200 miles on it since it was tuned.
I don't know how many times I have to say it.
I didn't realize japtrix wouldn't even consider taking a look at their work to back it.
Or .. HOLY **** maybe I had a problem and needed them to check it out!?
The point is
HE WOULDN'T EVEN HEAR ME OUT ON MY PROBLEMS BEFORE HE WANTED TO SPEW OUT ABOUT CHARGING ME
Whatever- Like I said, I'm washing my hands of this shop-- Last thing I need with this car is a shop that isn't going to care. Enough said. If you guys wanna deal with a shop like that go for it- I really don't care. I'm done talking about this.
And grats to you doug- you are a champion of the forums. One day I hope to make something as cool out pvc as your catch can
