2006 G35 At / Tn -st
Sup everyone,
I thought i would share my recent results with everybody. Apologies for the HUGE IMAGES!
Car made 322hp on mustang dyno after the TN install. We pulled three more graphs today after some new mods and here are the results. Needless to say i was surprised. Added to the car for these graphs are the following:
1 step colder plugs
HKS DLI
Blox spacer
boost controller
transgo kit
remote map selector
1st graph is pump gas @ 7lbs boost
2nd graph is pump gas @ 7lbs boost
3rd graph is C16 @ 10lbs boost

As you can see...after blox intake spacer and dli the car went from 322 to 361. 39hp gain with just plugs, a spacer and ignition really. We were able to add some timing due to the 1 step colder plugs. Damn thing had a nasty AFR dip on the original tune..

Looking good. Did you run the 12.7 with the TN? Let me know what you run when you get it to the track. I am aiming for 440-460 RWHP on either a TN/APS ST kit but on a built motor and water/meth (so I can crank the boost up hopefully a bit more to get those numbers). Interesting to see what kind of numbers are possible for a 5AT and this kit.

I have read alot about the differences between Mustang Dynos and others. Everything i have read and the opinion of my friends and tuner is that the car would probably read over 400 on a dynojet. I am going to have to put that to the test one day...Either way as it sits right now I am very happy with the car and tune. As much money as i got in it ...darn thing better run a 12.50...

How are you planning on launching the car? The stall I think stock is 2200-2400 RPM by doing that trick (full brakes, blip throttle, brake harder) but with a turbo (and even with those slicks) I am wondering if you will have tire spin off a launch like that.

B------O-----G? i think some tire pressure may help but then i spin...
I get the tranny to hold until about 2800 rpm before she rolls. Then after launch it just falls on its face. High stall converter is going to be a must to realize its full potential. My tuner says we could do a small shot of nitrous just at launch to compensate.... however i worry about that..The thought there is...to hit it with the nos to get off the line...and he says there is nothing to worry about motor wise that he"ll just adjust the timing for it.
