APS TT Tuner Kit(D.I.Y install) + Haltech = The Injected Experience **56K warning**

I decided it was time to add some power to my 03 G35 coupe about a year ago. After spending the better part of a year researching the pro’s and con’s of all the single and twin turbo kits available, I went with the APS TT Tuner kit. Towards the end of my second back to back deployment this pass October, I contacted Bryan@Z1 and made a deposit for him to hold a APS kit until my return to the states. I spent the next month getting the final pieces and research where/how I could do the install. During this time frame I started talking with Hal@IP. What can I say about Hal that hasn’t been said a thousand times. He is extremely knowledgeable on the VQ platform and the customer service is second to none. I wanted to get my car tuned the weekend of Jan 2nd before I went back to work and he said no problem. The shop was closed and he still came in to tune my car. I drove 8 hours from VA to KY on the base map he made for me. I modified the part throttle portion of the base map for good gas mileage and a smooth ride. I got there early Friday morning, I gave Hal the keys and let him work his magic. We ran into a few issues with the haltech, but they were nothing Hal couldn’t fix. My car is the lowest that’s been on their dyno, it took some work to get it on there, hahahahhhahaa. I had a blast plus I got the see the green machine, and some upcoming projects they have going on. Enough talking on the random pics during the install and vid’s. If you have questions about something, feel free to ask.

Specs:
APS TT Tuner Kit
Haltech EMS
Deatschwerks 600cc injectors
APS Tallboy Plenum
PLX Devices gauges
Stance gr+ True coilovers with cucso front and spc cambit kit
Competition Street performance Stage II Clutch and Steel Lightweight Flywheel

Prepped for install

Everything installed

All done!!

PLX Devices Modules

Car on the dyno

The man himself(sort of)

Random pic for a rest area I stopped at

numbers 403@10psi(I dyno'ed my car on a local dynojet the day before I started the TT install. When I get my car corner balanced next saturday, I will dyno at the same dynojet to compare the before and after numbers. I'm also curious to see what it will put down, since it made 403whp on a dyno dynamics dyno)

2 vid's of the dyno runs

Did you have to splice in the wiring for the Haltec, or were you able to just plug into the OEM plug?

Yes I did the install myself at the hobby shop on base. $4 an hour and tools to do anything you want. I give you prop's for installing your twins in the motor in the car. I cant see how you got it done, there is not space in there to work at all.

I did not have to splice any wires, the haltech is plug and play. The haltech comes with a patch harness that connects to the OEM ECU and the OEM harness

it took 10 days from start to finish. That includes the few days they were closed for the holidays.

Great job! I wish I had the time and the stones to try this myself, save a lot of money on install. Is that 402 on the stock boost is did you up it a little?

it made 350whp running of the wastegate spring(6.5psi) and the 402whp was at 10psi
