Hey Guys

BTW. I am selling some things off my car that I will NOT need anymore.

1. Crawford Plenum (used for ~9 months and ~11,000 miles). This is the V3 (old style plenum). All offers considered.
2. Pop-Charger. Essentially brand new - used for about 800 miles (1 month old). $85. Local L.A. preferred - will help you install it if I can.

Martin, Guys... THe plenum is already sold...sorry. The popcharger is still available!

Ted, thanks for letting me borrow your stock plenum!

Guys, thanks for the kind words - can't wait for you to see the car in person! I will of course post pics, times, etc. as soon as they become available.

Also, I am planning on going with the J&S Safeguard device. Ed (Eagle1) has it on his procharged coupe. For those who don't know, to make a long story short, it is a timing retard device that allows you to operate at the very brink of detonation, at the most advanced timing possible.

Arash, I will be going to Palmdale as soon as I become sure that i won't blow myself to kingdom come with the next WOT run! It is wisest ot get to know the car - especially how it will react at higher elevation. THat's is why i invested a few hundred bucks into a true wideband O2 sensor. that, along with my boost gauge, J&S, and PocketLogger, should allow for a decent study of how the car behaves in different conditions. So stay tuned!

As far as costs, man do NOT even remind me. Check out ebay in a couple of weeks, I am putting my left kidney on auction! Lets revisit that issue when we are finished! Now that HIN is hiring, I may be in luck and be able to make some extra cash!

Nice. Very nice.

I hate to ask, but any immediate plans to add gauges, boost controller, turbo timer, sleeves, fortified internals, thermal wrap, etc.?

Congrats on the kit. Now your going to have to upgrade the brakes to stop all that upgraded power. Just more fuel for the credit cards!!! LOL j/k Seriously though, that's a great looking kit. Glad your being smart and making sure you get some good tuning. Half the battle is in the tuning for safe, reliable performance.

bullseye,

all of what you said will be added, take away sleeves/forged internals. Not now.

Clint, LMAO

dklau,
Agree 100%, part of the reason why I waited. THere is just NO WAY IN HELL that the cheap emanage can do what th nicely designed nissan oem computer can do with modified parameters. The ECU upgrade is FAR mode difficult than it sounds. Clint and I were picking Todashi's brain for a while - once you get into the real particulars - it is pretty tricky.

Yes I am going back to the stock plenum, as for FI, the crawford plenum is likely not to do anything. Also, i want to take some ofthe unknowns out of the equation - so as to mimize the source of any problems initially. Belive you me! - there will be some experimentation done on this later. I wouldn't have it any other way!
