PE TwinTurbo Install - It has begunnnn! *Pics*

Hey Guys

Just thought I'd let you all know.... My Power Enterprise Twin Turbo installation has begun today! I dropped off the car just before lunch at Technosquare.

As far as quality is concerned - WOW - it is superb. The kit also includes a VERY thorough step by step installation guide (well, actually two - in English and Japanese).

The Pics:

This is after Todashi and I went through the box - making sure everything is in place. I was waiting to see this box for 4 months now!

The manifolds - look at the quality - very nice - completely hand made and ported.

The turbos!!!! IHI-1420-based ball-bearing turbos!

THe ARC intercooler - sorry didn't unwrap it before snapping the photo - the battery was dying.

The cast, expanded capacity oil pan (with cooling fins)!

The superb instructions!

Our very own, the one and only, the venerable Clint (THX723): examining and modeling the turbos! He picked me up today after I dropped off the car - thanks bro!

My baby-G - for the last time in N/A form!

THere it is guys... Let me know if there are any questions.... I will keep everyone posted on the progress.

Yours truly
Gurgen

It's a damn shame the parts are too big to fit in my pockets :/ I'd be willing to fore go friendship and pocket the PE while Grugen and Tadashi looked the other way =P

... only kidding of course.

The component quality is a very highl I can hardly wait for project to wrap myself. Congrat Gurgen!

Sweet. I'm really excited for you. Is this a sedan-specific kit or are they customizing it (or are no customizations needed for the sedan).

Sooner or later, I'm going to go turbo (hey, I get bored easily... what can I say) and the PE kit seems to be the best out there right now.

It's a matter of packaging. The enormous contraption I was holding mates to the other end of the exhaust manifold. Together, they'll be squeezed into the same space occupied by the stocker headers (recall, even the Crawford long tube headers were a tight squeeze). Ideally, one could play with the lengths of each exhaust runner, although not necessary for equal length in this (turbo) application, to get more out of it.

HKSjza70,
I thought about it, but I was sure you're at work at the time.

Daniel

Clint beat me to it.... We DID think about it but assumed that you'll be at work. Starting that first Sunday, i kind of started running around trying to visit with all my friends/relatives that i missed so much during my exile in S.F.; kind of got lost in the shuffle. However, I WILL be going there tomorrow morning. Lets meet up somewhere (maybe right at TechnoSquare?). Let me know how that sounds to you. I definitely want to see those wheels.

Wing..... Oh man, that's harsh (j/k). But seriously guys, not need to tell me you are kidding, i know you are. Hope to see you soon.

Ok Guys,

Some details. All the parts are off the car now (stock headers, cats, etc.). They are putting on the headers as we speak (according to Danny). There may be some changes to the composition of the kit. I will keep you posted on that when I confirm some things. As far as getting one of these, you jsut need to talk to TechnoSquare nad have them order the kit from PE USA (for that matter, you can go through any retailer). There is a wait for this kit though, sometimes as long as 2-4 months (unless things change in the near future - possible).
